Canberra RVers have joined the Australian Caravan Club family, with the ACC's first branch now formed in the capital. The ACC Capital Country Nomads branch was formed following a meeting, Happy Hour, and barbecue for interested RVers at Exhibition Park in Mitchell. The branch already has 24 members with hopes it'll continue to grow. Steve Onus has been appointed president along with Leigh Baddeley as a secretary. The ACC is one of the largest RV clubs in Australia with a membership of 4,500 and growing. Anyone with a caravan, pop-top, motorhome, campervan, slide-on camper, camper-trailer or fifth wheeler is encouraged to join and benefit from free Farm Stays, various social activities, musters and events. Any RVer living in the Canberra region who is interested in joining the ACC's new branch, should contact
