The show, which was held at Rosehill Racecourse, Parramatta, NSW, from April 25-30, 2017, was condensed from its usual nine-day format into just six days, following feedback from exhibitors.
In an exclusive interview with Caravan World during the show, Caravan Industry Association of NSW chief executive Lyndel Gray said many exhibitors felt nine days was too long for the show, so the association had listened and trialled a new format this year, which spanned one weekend instead of two.

Ms Gray said she was hoping to see 55,000 ticket-holders attend the show across the six days.
Official figures, released today, show that number actually exceeded 60,000.
Attendance was bolstered by a massive opening day, which saw more than 14,500 people attend the show on ANZAC Day, backed up by a huge closing weekend which attracted more than 26,000 people across Saturday and Sunday.
Ms Gray said, in its previous format, the show would usually attract between 72,000-79,000 visitors.
After the show wound up, Ms Gray told CW that, based on numbers, the new six-day format had been a success.
"We were blessed with good weather throughout the week, and the mood from exhibitors was good," she said.
However, the CCIA NSW will now survey exhibitors for feedback before making any decisions about the show's future.
"We made this change based on their feedback so we'll wait and see what they have to say about it," Ms Gray said.
