The new and improved, low-profile AL-KO Off-Road Coupling was engineered by AL-KO in Australia, based on feedback from manufacturers and owners about the existing offroad ball coupling.

It is designed for extreme offroad adventure and is suitable for extreme vertical and horizontal articulation.
It utilizes a standard 50mm ball coupling for quick and easy hitching.
“The original AL-KO Off-Road Ball Coupling has been a popular product for off-road caravans and camper trailers for many years’ said AL-KO marketing services manager Brad Hooper.
“Over this time we have taken feedback on board from both manufacturers and caravan owners. Our Australian engineers have incorporated these learnings into a new generation product that provides further improved ease of use and durability for serious off-road use.”
The coupling, which is zinc-plated, is available in 3500kg fixed electric configuration and a 2000kg mechanical override version. Both versions are available on new caravans and campers, can also be retrofitted to older RVs and come with a two-year warranty.
