Australian Caravan Club wants to engage more communities on RV issues

Lionel Mussell — 14 February 2017

The ACC held three RV-Friendly Business Seminars with members of the Liverpool Plains Chamber of Commerce and the local business community in late January and ACC chairman Craig Humphrey said.

The seminars were aimed at how local businesses could capture the burgeoning RV market by focusing on issues that affect RVs and the requirements for RV travel.

"We were able to explain what many RVers may be looking for when visiting and staying in an area, whether for a short or long term stay, and what their requirements and needs might be,” Mr Humphrey said.

The seminars were so successful that the ACC is now looking to engage other communities in a similar way in the hope promoting the RV lifestyle and benefit it can bring to small towns.
