And with half the campaign still to run, it looks set to smash the $100,000 fundraising target for life-changing breast cancer research.
Three Dometic Follow The Sun ambassador families, plus several runner-up families, are on the road in their own caravans, on 13-week, all-expenses-paid roadtrips, thanks to Dometic, down the east coast of Australia raising funds and awareness for the NBCF.
The Follow The Sun ambassadors are now about halfway through their three-month trip from Cairns to Melbourne and are hosting free 'Happy Hours' at predetermined stops, mainly caravan parks, along the way, offering drinks and nibbles, loads of giveaways, pink merchandise and raffle prizes from Dometic and partners.
Dometic's marketing manager Natalie King said the whole team was excited to reach such monumental milestone and is looking forward to reaching at least $100,000 by the time the trip concludes at the end of October.
"I can't believe we've already hit $60,000, it's a great achievement and will make a huge difference to the lives of thousands of Australian families," Mrs King said. "Thank you so much to everyone who has donated to the campaign so far – Australians have been very supportive of the campaign and we appreciate every cent that comes in."
