Queensland has a new caravan manufacturer.
Adamas Caravans, a Sunshine Coast business, was launched in September with an eye on designing and building bespoke touring and commercial caravans.
The Caravan Repair Centre, based in Meridan Plains, originally specialised in caravan repairs and restorations but noticed a gap in the market for affordable, custom-built touring caravans as well as bespoke vintage campers that could be used for commercial purposes.
“Our custom-building process lets you choose your caravan’s suspension, length, interior layout, colour scheme, accessories, and every other aspect of your future caravan,” general manager Renee Napthali, a 27-year-old mother of two, said. “We also offer an extensive selection of fantastic pre-set layouts and designs prepared by our experts.”
Customer Sarah Tanner was thrilled to receive her new, custom-built coffee shop caravan after buying a vintage van that was unsuitable for restorations.
“I receive compliments and enquiries everywhere I take my Adamas vintage camper, it truly is unique and eye-catching,” she said.
