Jayco and Nissan team up in V8 Supercars

Super fast cars and caravans don't usually go hand in hand, but a new partnership between Jayco Australia? and Nissan Motorsport? will see Jayco as a major sponsor of Nissan’s V8 Supercar team this year.

Nissan Motorsport has confirmed that Todd Kelly’s #7 Nissan Altima will be decked out in the livery of Australia’s largest RV manufacturer from the next V8 event, in Winton, next weekend.

Kelly, who will celebrate his 205th championship round at Winton, is one of Australia’s best-known V8 drivers but a lesser-known fact is that he’s also a keen caravanner

“I have been a proud Jayco owner for many years and regularly enjoy camping and caravanning with the family,” he said.

“To have the opportunity to work with a brand that I enjoy away from racing is a fantastic opportunity.

“Jayco is an exceptional brand and to have them join our stable is an honour. It’s also exciting for me to debut the new colours at our home event at Winton. “

Jayco’s marketing manager Chris Blunden said Jayco was a proud supporter of Australian sport and was excited to get involved in top level motorsport after previously sponsoring a V8 development team.

“Like Nissan Motorsport, Jayco is a proudly Australian-owned company providing products suitable to motorsport enthusiasts. You only have to look around any V8 Supercars event to see Jayco’s involvement with teams and fans of motorsport.”
