The new facility provides non-emergency treatment in the areas of family medicine — including immunisations and children’s health checks plus men’s and women’s health — as well as management plans for chronic illness, wound care, skin checks and minor surgical procedures.
The services, which are available at the Clive Bishop Medical Centre in Broken Hill, NSW, also include health assessments for over 75 year-olds and drivers' licence medicals to help grey nomads stay in tip-top shape on the road.
