New landscaping and upgrades to amenities blocks are planned as part of an upgrade program for the Nitmiluk Camping and Caravan Park in Katherine, NT, this wet season.
“More than $100,000 will be put into upgrading the facilities and surrounds of the area at the end of this peak season to ensure our product continues to meet market demand,” said Clive Pollack, CEO of Nitmiluk Tours, the company behind the upgrade. “To facilitate this program we will be closing part of our operations over the wet season from December 1 to February 25.”
The Nitmiluk National Park Camping and Caravan Park provides powered and unpowered sites, permanent and casual campgrounds, and chalet accommodation. It is a central point for touring Nitmiluk Gorge and caters for more than 100,000 visitors each year.
