Glen Cromie Caravan Park has secured a grant to assist in the restoration of its facilities following the Victoria's Black Saturday bushfires 14 months ago.
The local Baw Baw Shire helped park owners Karen and Charlie Azzopardi procure the grant, to re-establish walking trails damaged by fallen logs and debris caused by the fires.
"The support from the caravanning industry and the community has been phenomenal," says Karen.
Since reopening in March 2009, the park has rebuilt the amphitheatre (with the help of volunteers), and a new reception building is well underway.
