FRESH FROM THE inuagural Legends trip to Broken Hill, the Caravan World crew is out and about on another giant comparison test.
This time it's in the Blue Mountains in NSW, putting four top-shelf diesel 4WD tow vehicles through their paces: Toyota Land Cruiser, Range Rover, Nissan Patrol and Mitsubishi Pajero.
We spoke to editor Max Taylor as he cruised back to Lithgow after banging 4WDs around the bush. "We haven't had any mishaps so far, all the 4WDs have behaved extremely well," he said. "And I've found out deputy editor Paul Hayes can juggle."
Enough clowning around, boss. Which has been your favourite truck so far? "Driving the Range Rover Sport is like having a religious experience," says Taylor. "And, of course, the Land Cruiser 200 is the ever faithful dog it's supposed to be."
The results, as compiled by Paul, Max and tow test extraordinaire Phil Lord, will be packed into the June issue of Caravan World.
