Queensland’s Fraser Coast region will come alive for three days in August with the opening of the 2014 Wide Bay and Fraser Coast Home Show and Caravan Camping 4x4 and Fishing Expo.
Apart from being a candidate for the RV show with longest official name in Australia, the event celebrates lifestyle by bringing together several diverse lifestyle events at the Maryborough Showgrounds.
The Home Show component of the show celebrates “a fantastic range of products and services for our home, lifestyle and outdoor living” according to the organisers. Expect homes, renovation ideas and gardening.
Of interest to caravanners and RVers will be the many caravans and RVs on display. The many exhibitors include a large quantity of caravans, camper trailers and motorhomes, plus plenty of 4WDs and other vehicles, not to mention tow vehicle accessories. The Fishing Expo part of the show also means visitors will see a range of fishing gear.
For those more inclined to craft, the event brings back the Stitches Craft and Hobby Pavilion. Expect to see everything from embroidery and beading to sewing, quilts, arts and crafts — and anything in between.
