Branch after branch announced their support and the donations amounted to more than $5000 before the ACC board decided to increase this to $6000.

ACC Chairman Tom Smith said this showed what the ACC was all about. “The generous reaction of ACC members when made aware of an immediate need was heart warming and I am proud to belong to such a great organisation,” he said.

Blaze Aid assists farmers to get back on their feet after suffering devastating damage to their property and livelihood. This can make the difference between survival and giving up and volunteers who assist with Blaze Aid often tell of lasting friendships developed between helpers and the farmer and family.
