Camps Australia Wide, one of Australia’s most comprehensive guide to free and low cost camping, has been updated for the modern road traveller.
The fifth edition, out March 1, includes new information on over 3500 listed campsites, rest areas, remote tourist parks and station stays including whether or not a location has dry weather access only or has mobile phone coverage.
Directions to the sites have been expanded upon and more GPS co-ordinates have been added. The guide also includes a Hema Maps Road Atlas, with the campsites positioned in their approximate locations on the maps.
Over 600 detailed dump point locations now include contact details, data on suitability for cassettes and holding tanks, pricing and availability for passing travellers, as well as accessibility for big rigs.
As with previous editions, updates to Camps Australia Wide 5 will continue to be posted on its website at www.campsaustraliawide.com.
Camps Australia Wide 5 will be available March 1 and will retail for $49.95.
