2014 Brisbane 4X4 And Outdoors Show

Caravan World Staff — 25 February 2014

The Brisbane 4x4 And Outdoors Show in conjunction with the Brisbane Tinnie and Tackle Show this year runs from Friday, April 4 until Sunday, April 6, at the Brisbane Showgrounds.

The event showcases an extraordinary range of outdoors and camping gear, 4WDs and accessories, campers and caravans, and pretty much anything else imaginable of interest to outdoors enthusiasts.

Other highlights this year include the Action Arena, which promise to showcase plenty of extreme 4WD and off road action, and the Waeco Outback stage, which the organisers describe as the “central information hub” for this event.

Just some of the many special guests this year include none other than the Irwin family who live and breathe the outdoors; Chris ‘Brolga’ Barns, better known Kangaroo Dundee; and Chris and Elayne Clash, “The crazy travellers” who covered more than 300,000km in 130 countries.

Ticket holders can catch a free train loop service that runs between Roma St, Central, Fortitude Valley and Exhibition Grounds (Brisbane Showgrounds) Stations. Very limited parking is also available at the show for a flat rate of $12 per day (cash only).

The Brisbane 4x4 And Outdoors Show is open from 9am to 6pm (5pm closure on the Sunday). Tickets are $18 for adults, $12 for seniors and free for children under 15. Two-day adults passes are also available for $25.
