Caravan World — 13 November 2009

An estimated 250 RV travellers arrived in Mildura for the Australian Caravan Club’s (ACC) 3rd National Muster, from October 14 to 18 2009.

About 130 caravans were stationed at the Apex Riverbeach Caravan Park for the duration of the event, which hosted RV-related seminars on 12V power, safe outback travel, legal matters and caravan cooking.

Caravan World with Motorhome World columnist, Lloyd Junor and wife Brenda took centre stage, sharing their experiences operating their tagalong tours through the outback for the past two-and-a-half decades.

In addition to attending the informative seminars, members had the chance to cruise on Murray or join Lloyd and Brenda on a tagalong tour of the nearby Monga National Park, with the local Rotary Club preparing a barbecue for the masses, Friday night.
